The proposal of the collection is an ethereal and effortless wardrobe, meant to be a soft answer to the raw reality, balanced through nostalgic faded colors expressing a certain sense of loss and reflecting silvers, catching the light of the new season, the hope and joy of the coming times.
Somehow suspended in a limited place to move and an extended space for memories or dreams, ireene’s spring collection is searching to explore these strange times, trying to name the controversial feelings we all have been through this year.
Distance, separation, search for happiness, frustration, resilience, longing.. The experimentation of those sometimes confusional states of being naturally led to a renewed way of seeing and wearing clothes. The emotional and physical relationship to clothing changed profoundly by the absence of other people’s eyes, the disappeared social life, the escaping reality.
